Day 1 - Janie

The Edion were so innocent.  Janie had originally planned on freeing the half dozen teenagers, but she couldn't do that to them.  They didn't know anything about the outside world, they were so happy and loving that she couldn't just turn them loose, no matter what she thought of them.  People shouldn't be raised as property.  They should be treated as human, and be free to do whatever they wanted.  

And it was horrible that these beautiful teens were kept from everything that could have made them great.  Instead they looked at her like she was some kind of goddess or something.  Janie didn't like to think of herself like that.  She was just a woman who happened to be immortal.

"Call me Janie.  Um...  Have this ice cream.  I'll be... studying."  She pointed to a table, where six bowls of strawberry ice cream were on the table.  The freshly bathed Edion laughed, and ran over to devour their treat.  

Janie had been disgusted when she found out that their development had been stopped by drugs, that their sex drive was nonexistent.  The medication to end that was hidden in the ice cream.  This was their first step to freedom.  Next she'd get them some life skills, and get them jobs.  She had it all planned out.

The one called Melita skipped over to her, with a purple flower in hand, and offered it to her.

"Janie, I made this for you.  I will cultivate an entire field, all the colors of the rainbow, in your honor."

"Melita."  She looks over at the woman.  Her hair is red, her skin pale, and she wonders how this woman has any of her DNA.  "This is beautiful.  Thank you."

"You honor me, my AnKi-on."  

She hugs her Edion, because the girl looks honored, she looks so- Janie can't think of the proper word to describe it- but she realizes that the girl is happy when she's happy.

"All of you, come over for a hug."  The remaining three women and two men rush over, and suddenly, each of them gets a hug.  Janie decides then that she'll take care of them for as long as they need her.  She needs that, she needs to be needed, and they're perfect for it.
